Even so, this can end up generating a series of risks, considering that this system is extremely important to guarantee the safety of everyone on the premises.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition to its installation, which is a process that requires care, attention must also be paid to the smallest details of its suitability, such as the location of the lightning rods. This verification will ensure greater safety for the building and a proper installation.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How is the lightning protection system (LPS) adapted?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For a lightning protection system (LPS) to be properly installed, a complete technical process must be initiated, requiring specific knowledge to ensure that no failures interrupt its progress. Ideally, a qualified professional, such as engineers specializing in LPS, should be involved in its execution.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Furthermore, the adaptation steps consist of:<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Initial assessment<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">First and foremost, it is necessary to assess the structure that needs to be protected. From this point, it will be possible to develop a detailed analysis of the site, taking into account relevant factors such as the building&#039;s geographical location, type of building, its use, height, and also construction materials.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The main objective is to identify all lightning strike risks and determine the best approach to generate protection.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Lightning Protection System Project<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The second step is based on an initial assessment of the environment. From there, the engineer will begin designing the protection system.
